This 5-day Tanzania safari reveals the best of Northern Tanzania’s wildlife treasures. Begin in Tarangire, a land of ancient baobabs and vast elephant herds. Continue to the legendary Serengeti, home to the Great Migration and Africa’s iconic predators. Journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife, before finishing at Lake Manyara, where tree-climbing lions and an astonishing variety of birds await. Along the way, enjoy premium stays in lodges and tented camps that blend comfort with wilderness adventure.
A day-to-day itinerary provides a clear and structured overview of your safari, outlining each stage of your journey from arrival to departure. It details daily activities, destinations, and accommodation stays, ensuring you know exactly what to expect at every step.

After breakfast, set out for Tarangire National Park, famous for its immense elephant populations and striking landscapes dotted with giant baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch before heading to your camp for dinner and overnight. Unlike the more visited parks, Tarangire remains a hidden gem, offering a quieter and more intimate safari experience with excellent wildlife viewing.

This morning, travel to the Serengeti, Tanzania’s most celebrated safari destination. Spend the day tracking the movement of wildebeest and zebra across the endless plains, along with encounters of predators that follow the herds. In the evening, check in at your lodge (TBC) for dinner and overnight. The Serengeti is a stage where the drama of survival unfolds daily, from great migrations to powerful predator-prey interactions.

After breakfast, explore the central Serengeti, particularly the wildlife-rich Seronera Valley. This region is a hotspot for big cat sightings, with lions, leopards, and cheetahs often seen in action. Large herds of elephants and buffalo roam here too, while giraffes and antelope graze the open grasslands. Return in the evening to your tented camp for a warm meal and relaxation under the African night sky.

Depart after breakfast for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera for a full-day game drive. The crater floor supports an extraordinary density of wildlife including rhinos, lions, hippos, and vast flocks of flamingos. Visit Lake Magadi inside the crater, where hippos wallow and birdlife thrives. In the evening, continue to Moyo Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a lush paradise at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. The park is renowned for its prolific birdlife, with over 400 species recorded, and is one of the few places in Africa where lions are known to climb trees. After your game drive, return to Arusha and continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
