A day-to-day itinerary provides a clear and structured overview of your safari, outlining each stage of your journey from arrival to departure. It details daily activities, destinations, and accommodation stays, ensuring you know exactly what to expect at every step.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you’ll be greeted by a JustlandAfrica representative and transferred to your luxurious city hotel. Settle in and relax at Gran Meliá Arusha, offering breathtaking views of Mount Meru, fine dining, spa options, and a serene setting to prepare for your safari adventure.
Note:Your pre-safari briefing will be conducted at your hotel. If you arrive before 5:00 PM on the day prior to your safari, the briefing will take place that evening. If you arrive later, your guide will meet you for the briefing on the morning of your safari before departure. This ensures you’re fully prepared and have the opportunity to ask any last-minute questions.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park (Approx. 2 hrs drive). This park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and abundant wildlife near the Tarangire River. Enjoy a full-day game drive with a hot lunch at a scenic picnic site. In the late afternoon, continue to your stylish lodge in Karatu for a relaxing evening.
Start the day with a drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands toward Serengeti National Park (Approx. 4–5 hrs drive including game viewing en route). Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti, home to big cats, giraffes, hippos, and the Great Migration (seasonal). Enjoy luxury under canvas at the beautiful Sametu Camp, located in a prime wildlife corridor
Spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti plains. Your professional guide will tailor the day’s game drives based on wildlife movements. Witness predator-prey interactions, elephant herds, and iconic landscapes.
Optional Upgrade: Early morning hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti with champagne breakfast (available at additional cost – advance booking required)
After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for game drive (Approx. 3–4 hrs drive to crater rim). Descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera home to the densest concentration of wildlife in Africa including rhinos, lions, and flamingos.
In the late afternoon, ascend and drive to Kitela Lodge in Karatu for a comfortable evening.
This morning, head to Lake Manyara National Park for a final game drive (Approx. 1 hr). This compact park is known for its tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and lush groundwater forest.
Optional cultural visit to a traditional Maasai Boma can be arranged en route.After the game drive, enjoy lunch and begin your return journey to Arusha.
